Estoy hace tiempo anunciando que existen otras alternativas en EE.UU. para que nuestros peloteros de edad mayor (19-20 años de edad) que no están en el panorama de los Scouts (Part Time) en PR y mucho menos en los supervisores de draft que vienen de USA a evaluar nuestros peloteros de Escuela Superior que se graduaran de 4to año y que son elegibles para el draft ahora 2017 .

Existen oportunidades en las ligas independientes de EE.UU. y no las estamos usando como trampolín para lograr que estos peloteros de edad mayor puedan jugar firmando un contrato profesional y luego si logras unos buenos números en esa liga, puedas jugar en PR como muchos que han logrado jugar luego de hacer buen trabajo en la ligas Independientes. Ahora mismo existe una oportunidad de llegar a unos tryouts en una de estas ligas independientes donde en Junio 5 al 9, cuatro equipos de esa liga estarán evaluando a los peloteros para saber si dentro de sus habilidades y necesidades puedan firmar varios prospectos aficionados.

Esto es una buena oportunidad para estos peloteros de edad mayor que están en el limbo sin oportunidad ninguna de lograr un contrato profesional con una organización de GL. Todo el mundo sabe del desmadre que existe para estos jóvenes de edad mayor con la desigualdad que tenemos a nivel Internacional y ya la revista Baseball America en abril 21 hablo de que PR en desarrollo esta muy lento desde que el draft llego a PR y muy lejos de la altura y calidad de oportunidades que tiene Internacional como RD, Venezuela, Mexico ,etc.

El problema que existen programas privados que están explotando el bolsillo de los padres con las becas en los programas de béisbol en USA y la mayoría de estos que son engañados se regresan sin ellos terminar el semestre porque cuando llegan a los Jr. College de EE.UU. se encuentra que no le cumplen con todo las promesas o con le ofrecieron, teniendo que estos peloteros regresar a PR perdiendo los padres dinero. Si identifico a estos peloteros que han sido engañados sobre pasan los 50 que han llegado a estos programas y se han tenido que regresar del 2014 a 2016. La prensa en general de PR no les gusta hablar de este problema pero tampoco ayudan a uno a que llegue información positivas en beneficio de estos peloteros de 19 a 20 años que están deambulando por ahí buscando que llegue la oportunidad a nivel profesional que nunca llegará. I have long been announcing that there are other alternatives in the USA for our older players (19-20 year olds) who are not in the Scouting (Part Time) scenario in PR and much less the draft supervisors who come from the USA to evaluate our High School players who will graduate from their Senior year and are eligible for the draft now 2017.

There are opportunities in the independent US league and we are not using them as a trampoline to get these older players to sign a professional contract and then if you get good numbers in that league, you can play in PR like many who have managed to play after doing good work in the Independent League. Right now there is an opportunity to reach tryouts in one of these independent leagues where on June 5 to 9, four teams from that league will be evaluating the players to know if within their skills and needs can sign several amateur prospects.

This is a good opportunity for these older players who are in limbo with no chance at all to get a professional contract with a MLB organization. Everyone knows about the mess that exists for these older youth with the inequality that we have at the International level and already the Baseball America magazine on April 21 said that the development in PR is very slow since the draft came to PR and far from the quality of opportunities that International has like DR, Venezuela, Mexico, etc. The problem is there are private programs are exploiting their parents’ pocket with scholarships in the programs of baseball in the USA and the majority of those who are rejected return without finishing the semester because when they arrive at the Jr. College of USA, they will not find all the promises they offered, having these players return to PR is losing their parents’ money .

If I identify these players who have been rejected from 50 who have come to these programs and have had to return from 2014 to 2016. The press in general of PR do not like to talk about this problem but they do not help one to get positive information for the benefit of these players from 19 to 20 years of age who are wandering around looking for an opportunity to come and reach a professional level that never came.
